Business Activity Footprint
ICOR will make a concerted effort to limit the amount of waste products that are shipped to local landfills. All scrap metals, plastics, glass, chemicals, or paper products produced from our manufacturing process, and administrative activities will be collected, separated, and transferred to recycling companies. All products classified as hazardous materials will be processed in compliance with governmental regulations.
Office staff will use as many recycled paper products possible. Eligible printer ink cartridges will be refilled rather than replaced. Each office will be assigned two waste baskets. One for paper waste and another for all other non-recyclables. All plastic or metal drink containers are to be placed in the designated recycle bins.
Employees will be responsible for turning off lights in any work areas not being utilized. Climate control thermostats can only be adjusted by authorized facility personnel. As part of its comprehensive preventative maintenance programs, ICOR will insure that all areas of its production facility that are vulnerable to an accidental refrigerant release are inspected on a regular schedule. All by-products produced from our manufacturing processes will be handled properly and recycled when possible.
