Employee Participation
ICOR will encourage its employees to be good stewards and will facilitate a voluntary company wide recycling program. Participants can bring recycled paper goods, metals, glass and plastic in paper or plastic bags. All containers should be clean. Participants can also bring in used batteries and unused hazardous materials such as paints, solvents, pesticides, etc. Volunteer participants will sign a certificate stating they pledge to make a concerted effort to reduce their personal environmental footprint.
A monthly Green Shot newsletter will be posted on the Green Shot Information Board and each month an electronic newsletter will be emailed to all ICOR associates. Each issue will offer new household recycling strategies, energy saving innovations and an ICOR environmental report card. As an added incentive ICOR will provide each employee with an initial supply of energy saving fluorescent bulbs for home use.
All proceeds collected from ICOR’s recycling efforts will contribute to the company’s biannual efficiency bonus program.
